bei heissen 32 grad an samstagen beim einkaufen spielt schon mal das gedächtnis bei verkäufern verrückt und lässt dinge zu papier bringen, die unmöglich bzw. völlig sinnfrei sind.

hier z.b. die notiz eines verkäufers an einem laserdrucker der firma hp (hewlett packard): „das farbband ist leer“. schade nur, dass für laserdrucker keine farbbänder zu kaufen gibt. diese funktionieren nur mit toner (= feines farbpulver in grossen behältner). ein farbband ist, wie der name schon sagt, ein band in einer kleinen kassette (ähnlich einer musikkassette) mit farbe drauf…

zwei völlig verschiedene dinge und nur eines davon passt in einen laserdrucker.

it’s was hot in germany last saturday. more than 32 degrees in a big electromarket and the salesman brain is going crazy. so the salesman write down a useless message.

a notice on a hp (hewlett packard) laserjet: „the color ribbon is empty“. sorry, but for laserjets you can’t buy color ribbons, cause a laserjet operates only with toner (powder in boxes). the color ribbon, as the name implies, is a ribbon (like a music cassette) with color on it.

two different things and only one of it perfect match.
